Overview

Being a world-class fixer is about who you know: clients need discreet solutions, and crews want to see retirement. Then there's you, stuck in the middle with your rep on the line. Yeah, you're quitting the biz -- after one last job.

Set in a dystopian near-future which - a few years earlier - experienced a cataclysmic, global system crash, One Last Job is a team management game where you work to build your reputation as a fixer by successfully completing jobs with your crew.

How to Play

As a fixer, it's your job to pair crews up with jobs. When your crew does well, everyone gets paid and your reputation as a competent fixer grows.

With better rep, your clients will offer bigger and more complex jobs. As you move up in the world, your crew will cycle out - retiring either by choice or by chance - and you'll be forced to bring in new blood to keep climbing.

By choosing the right people for the job, your odds of success increase - but even if luck isn't on your side and you're heading down to rock bottom; everything can still change. To get back on your feet, you just need to do... One Last Job.

Features

  • Hire strange and interesting characters to your crew; the base datapack alone offers nearly 100 concepts and more than 200 modifiers for the character randomizer to use.

  • Don't want to use random characters? Great - create custom, unique characters in the Crew Editor -- and then hire THEM when you play!

  • See each job acted out in real-time, or go through step-by-step to see how your crew handles each phase (and twist!).

  • Learn about the Null State universe as your crew handles jobs from the local to the global.

  • Make your game just how you want it by adding custom / themed datapacks with new concepts, modifiers, characters, jobs, and more!

  • Based on Tricube Tales, a TTRPG game system by Richard Woolcock
